1) Why do you think this person is one of today's most dominant entrepreneurs?

I think Jeff Bezos is one of today's most dominate entrepreneurs because he created a company--amazon-- which has a part in a diverse set of markets. From books and music to make up and even gourmet food if you want it Amazon sells it. He did this by creating a new market in electronic commerce. This combination of uniqueness and variety is what made him the multi-millionaire that he is today.

2)Do you agree with the ways in which this entrepreneur has marketed his or her image?

One of the great things about Bezos is that he isn't marketing an image of luxery or decadence that so many other CEO's do. He pays himself a paltry 80, 000 dollars, as to project an image of restraint to the public and create a certain company culture. This is all mitigated of course by the fact that he gives himself a good deal of personal wealth via stock options. Projecting this image gives integrity to the brand name of Amazon.

3)What affect do you think that this entrepreneur has left on the market place?

Amazon has created a whole new market of online shopping. While others may have had the idea before it was Bezos who executed it most sucessfully, and thus set the standard for how effecient and encompassing a shopping website could be. By establishing online shopping as a serious market Bezos also set the stage for other companies having the oppertunity to innovate.
