Jay-Z aka "Jigga Man" aka "Hova"

1) Why do you think this person is one of today's most dominant entrepreneurs?


I believe that Jay-Z is one of today's most dominant entrepreneurs because he has and still continues to be an ambassador for my culture. When I say "my culture", I'm referring to the generation of today's younger people and the hip-hop/rap life style, which also is the most dominant genre of music today. Jay-Z has manage to realize that in order to be a successful black entrepreneur, he must make smart business decisions with the interest of his culture in mind.




2)Do you agree with the ways in which this entrepreneur has marketed his or her image?



I agree with Jay-Z's ways of marketing his image 100 percent. Him being a brand of his own he has the upper hand by being a rapper; one of the greatest rappers at that. He understands that people watch his image and follows his style.



3)What affect do you think that this entrepreneur has left on the market place?



I think that Jay-z has opened many door for many young, black aspiring entrepreneurs. Especially for the ones who have lived the kind lifestyle that he has, and grown up in the same kind of environment that he has, and also coming from the recording industry. He has opened the eyes of many, such as myself.
